Amazonite

Amazonite, named after the Amazon River, is a captivating green to blue-green variety of potassium feldspar. Its striking turquoise hues and occasional white streaks or patterns give it a resemblance to jade, though it is distinct in both composition and appearance. Amazonite is appreciated not only for its aesthetic appeal but also for its calming and balancing energy.

Where It's Found: Significant deposits of Amazonite can be found in various parts of the world, including Brazil, Russia (particularly in the Ilmen Mountains), Madagascar, the United States (Colorado and Virginia), and Ethiopia. Each locale contributes to the diversity in the shades and qualities of Amazonite available on the market.
