Dragon Septarian 

Dragon Septarian, also known as Dragon Stone or Septarian Nodule, is a fascinating and unique mineral combination that captures the attention of both geologists and metaphysical practitioners. Its distinctive appearance features a mix of yellow calcite, brown aragonite, grey limestone, and clear barite, often creating patterns that resemble dragon scales, hence the name.

Formation and Composition:

As sea levels were much higher, sediment containing decomposed sea life and volcanic ash collected and formed mud balls. As the oceans receded, these mud balls dried and cracked internally. Mineral-rich water then flowed into the cracks, depositing minerals such as calcite (the yellow centers) and aragonite (the brown lines) which crystallized within the gaps.
• Composition: The primary minerals include Calcite, Aragonite, Limestone, and sometimes Barite and Chalcedony.

Where It's Found: Dragon Septarian is primarily found in Utah and Nevada in the USA, though similar formations can be found in Madagascar, New Zealand, and parts of Canada and England.
