African Jasper Blood Stone is a beautiful grounding stone that combines the stabilising qualities of African Jasper with the revitalising energy traditionally associated with Bloodstone. It is valued for promoting courage, endurance, emotional resilience, and a strong connection to the Earth. While often sold under this trade name, many specimens are a form of jasper with bloodstone-like colouring rather than traditional Bloodstone (Heliotrope).

Appearance:
African Jasper Blood Stone typically displays deep forest green, olive, and earthy brown tones with vivid red, burgundy, or rust-coloured spots and streaks. Some specimens also feature cream, black, or grey inclusions, creating unique natural patterns. It is opaque with a smooth, polished finish.

Where It's Found:
This stone is primarily sourced from South Africa, with additional deposits found in Namibia and Madagascar.

Rarity:
African Jasper Blood Stone is considered moderately common, although specimens with vibrant green colouring and rich red markings are more desirable and sought after by collectors.
