Silky Purple Fluorite Sphere Healing Crystal Ball 943g 85mm

Silky Fluorite, a distinctive variety of Fluorite, is characterized by its fibrous, silky luster and texture, which differentiates it from the more common, smoothly polished or naturally cleaved forms of Fluorite. This unique appearance is due to the alignment of the mineral's crystal structure, which scatters light and gives Silky Fluorite its characteristic sheen. The colors of Silky Fluorite can range across the spectrum typical of Fluorite, including greens, purples, blues, and a mix of these hues, sometimes within the same specimen.

Where It's Found: Fluorite itself is a widespread mineral found in various locations around the world, with significant deposits in Mexico, South Africa, Namibia, and the United States. Silky Fluorite, due to its specific structural characteristics, may be less common but can occur in any of these regions where conditions allow for its unique formation.
