Variscite

Variscite is a relatively rare phosphate mineral that is prized for its vivid green colors, which can range from light minty hues to deeper emerald shades. Often mistaken for turquoise because of its similar appearance, variscite distinguishes itself through its softer and more varied color patterns, often with white, brown, or black matrix inclusions that can form intricate webbing across the stone.

Where It's Found: Variscite is primarily mined in the United States, particularly in Utah, where it's sometimes referred to as "Utahlite." Other notable sources include Australia, Brazil, Germany, and Spain.
